I ordered in January. Still no build week or any idea when the car will be built. Guess I’ll be looking at April next year! Dealer gave a 60hp polo to hammer for a few months at his cost on his insurance so they are also not happy with the situation

I am seriously unimpressed. Ordered a GTI plus on the 2nd feb. Still no build week, apparently it will be after September so we will get a particulate filter which will have a higher road tax and lower economy and dealer has absolutely no idea when it will show up. It also appears the GTI+ has completely disappeared off of the online configurator now... That might be as a result of me reporting the fact that once you selected the GTI+, it then defaulted to a GTI when you built it. But probably not! Our order: GTI+, Reef Blue/back roof, deep iron dash, winter ...

I ordered a GTI+ with a few options on the 2nd of Feb. I don’t have a build week either. Dealer said this was ‘normal’ for a new model. Hope the scrappage deal continues beyond and June...
