Probably the water corroded the window switches, or there is moisture under the switches and you have a short circuit you should uninstall them, clean them and see if there is water still trapped under the switches.

does VCDS provide an explanation for each of those Byte/Bits ? because i see on my OBD11 there is no description what so ever... Im trying to figure out how to only change the byte 2 and im failing to do so. And by the way i saw from the XLS that byte 2 44 is for 200mm rear drums so its wrong, i hav...

Don't know have not noticed anything bad about my setup just much better braking, no early ABS engaging or other noticable problems, i will ask a brake specialist though when i have the chance...

Yes ok but due to EBV electronic brake variator, wouldn't the braking force be applied correctly since it reads and adapts on the fly on the braking conditions?

Im not an expert but abs sensors measure wheel rotation, its got nothing to do with rotor size...

Why would you need to code the ABS? I upgraded my 6R Tdi, from 256mm to 288mm, changed calipers, carriers, rotors, knuckles, the braking difference is day and night i did not recode anything and i haven't noticed any problems...
