I didn't realise it could be retrofitted. How much does it cost?

Just got this through the post today. Another safety recall, this time regarding the handbrake cable on all models with rear drum brakes.

Wondering when the recalls for the Polo will actually stop...

Mine does the same thing which I believe is normal.

The point of it seems to be that when the speed limiter is activated, adding that bit of pressure causing the accelerator to go that bit further, the speed limiter is deactivated if you need a bit more speed suddenly

Surely it can't be illegal for an acoustic sound as my parent works for Jaguar and has a 19 plate that beeps when locked and that has an alarm.

Does anyone know if there is a way of making the Polo alarm bleep or horn beep once when you lock the car as an acoustic way of knowing you have locked the car?
US versions of VW have the option but cannot find it and wondered if anyone knew.

Funnily enough I was looking at one of these and will definitely be enquiring on my Polo Beats. Will let you know if I have any lucks.

I've just replaced the rear window wiper in my car due to it constantly making a juddering noise when in use. Currently contacting VW to see if they will pay as car is only three months old.

Will let you all know if I get any luck from VW

Still haven't received a letter about the recall but booked in now on Tuesday

I've got the Beats Polo in black and I've not had any issues with the interior picking up dirt at all. Bit harder to clean the black, but apart from that, no issues with cleaning

I have had my DSG Polo Beats for over a month now and agree that both point 1 and 2 are the same for me.

My car tries to creep forward with the handbrake on and the AC is more powerful in the middle than the outer vents.

I didn't order a GTI but ordered a beats and collected it today. You guys will love the new polo as its an amazing car.
Front Assist is amazing and seriously helped me today when two lorries crashed in front of me. It stopped the car and made sure I didn't rear end the crash.

I've actually just cancelled my factory order due to the fact that VW managed to source me a new Polo Beats with near-enough the same spec

Yeah I am impacted by this as well and extremely irritated due to the fact my car was supposed to be here for July. Debating cancellation at this point!

Unfortunately it's not just the GTI+ anymore, most model variants seem to be affected badly. I ordered the Polo Beats DSG back in Early Feb and still do not have a build week.
