Re: Polo GTi + Driving Modes
We are all concerned of course not to fall foul of the motorway and other average speed cameras. Does anybody know or 'tested' the accuracy of our Polo's speedometer at 70 MPH. Often compared to a standalone sat nav car's speedometers are overriding by 7% or more

Re: R-line 115
I have a SEl 115 6spd having come from the previous model SEl with the 1.2 engine and also 6 gears. Mmmmm On paper the cars have near identical BHP but in practice they feel quite different. With the previous car the gear ratios and engine power seemed very well matched and it never felt it was runn...

Re: Sluggish?
I too have come from a 1.2 TSI Polo to my current 115 TSI and yes there is certainly a difference. The gearing is is taller, doubtless in the interest of consumption, but I do find you need to change down frequently and more importantly keep your revs up as you can find yourself almost totally lacki...

It's Arrived
Well it’s arrived my SEL 115 6 speed in Reef Blue and with 17in Pamplona wheels, ordered way back in December. My previous was a 2014 1.2 SEL 6sp. My initial thoughts. Well of course the car is bigger, quieter and more refined all round. The new engine is very willing revver but it seems you need to...

Re: GTI+ order date vs build week confirmation
Mine is on the Green Ridge currently sailing to Southampton, ETA 7.7.18. Will it offload cars there or does have to go via Emden?

Polo vs Fiesta
I am currently holidaying in Majorca where there are just loads of new Polos, nearly all white renters I would guess. However I have on rent a new style Fiesta. MmmmI I have to say I am very impressed, it’s very quiet has a willing engine and a creamy smooth ride. Looks wise the interior is not in t...

Tyres
I have a SEL on order, taking forever.... It will be coming with 17in Pamplona wheels and I was wondering whether anybody who has taken delivery of a Polo with those wheels can let us know what tyres they come fitted with. My 2014 Polo has 17 in wheels and the slow speed ride over broken tarmac is o...

Re: Sport Select Suspension
How odd, my dealer didn’t seem to know anything about it and as I said I can’t see it listed in the brochure/price list. I had it on a S3 a while back....

Sport Select Suspension
In a number of online reviews they recommend opting for Sport Select Suspension, but this is not as far as I can see listed in the brochure/price list only a Driving Profile Selection for £115 which enables minor tweaks to throttle response etc. Did this feature not make it to the UK models? I was q...
