I have looked at it as an option. However VW have made a big error in not producing a 1.5 petrol. Seat and Skoda do have the 1.5 in their equivalent models.

Hope you are not disappointed, all cars normaly go to Germany first. If nothing else it is to transfer to smaller car carriers that can get into UK ports. I’ve confirmed my GTi is on Green Ridge going up the English Channel now, will be in Germany very soon.

I ordered a Gti+ on Feb 6th and I have also had a build date today - end of May. As they do not book a build until all parts are available obviously they now have everything in place to build.
