My daughter s tdi 2007 1.9 the same, will be fine for days then travel over halfway to the floor, no fluid loss, but can here air escaping behind pedal every time i press it,,, next day... Fine,,,,???

SO having removed the head I turned it upside down and filled each of the cylinder tops with water. Low and behold water quickly started draining from number 1 and out of the exhaust port. In fact I put my bright led light into the exhaust port hole and you could clearly see the ring of light aroun...

Beginning of May I stripped down my Daughter's 3 cylinder BMD engine and had new valve seats and the head skimmed as a result of poor compression. This solved the problem and the car ran fine. Thankyou, where will the end of the loom that I connect the CD changer into be located ?? If the cd is separate,you need a ft long joining cable,that links the stereo to the cd unit, I've got one hanging in my garage,,been there years, should b the right one,don't think they are expensive,few quid,...

Do some continuity testing with a multimeter on Ohms (resistance) and check there are no rogue values between the chassis plug and the window and door lock plugs Thanks ill dig in again...just to add..if i open the pas door with the key..then get in car..window will work from its switch fine.'till ...

I would look into changing the door wiring loom to the body before you do anything further.
