Black Connector Under Passenger Seat - SOLVED

Hello Everyone,

I was cleaning my Polo 9N3 the other day when I found this black connector under the passenger seat. I looked for a socket to connect it to but couldn't find one. Hope someone can help indentifyng this black connector. Below is the picture. Thank you.

I have replaced the front break pads and the click disappeared! Used a wire brush to clean the caliper especially the part where the pad slides and contacts with the caliper. Used copper grease to lubricate those parts and the back side of the break pads. Also cleaned the caliper pins and lubricated...

I was thinking when I read this this morning, that it might be the brake light switch mounted on the brake pedal that you are hearing, that is if you are not sure where the noise is coming from. The other reason I thought it might be that switch was that you said that if the brakes are applied slow...

Its probably the pads sticking in the carrier. Be sure to use copper grease on the backing pad and edges (not the friction surface) when refitting the new pads and clean the carrier up appropriately.
