Just got a call this morning from my dealer and they said that the Polo GTi has failed to meet the new EU emissions regulations (WLTP).

This has caused my delivery date to be put back to January next year (from August/September originally).

I find it difficult to believe that the factory will be shut down for two months because of model year changes. The car has only been available for order for a few months so why make changes so soon, especially as the car seems to be selling so well? I can understand that the goodies you get for ...

So many of the cars on the list without a confirmed build week have the optional 18” Brescia alloy wheels. Maybe a supplier issue with whoever makes these wheels for VW that could be delaying the build of cars with this option.

I ordered mine on March 2nd and I haven't had a build date.

Went for the + in pearl black, 18" Brescias and Dual-zone climate control. So nothing really that should delay the delivery any significant amount.

I was told 26 weeks, although I was hoping for the start of August. Judging from you who ...
