Re: Alloy wheel help
Why do you want red DRL's in the first place, I think you'll find SRGTD correct in his post. get a copper on an off day, not only will you have to remove the red plastic film, but end up with a fine. You could be coming round a bend with a "T" junction and your going straight on. And he se...

Re: Front headrests
Thanks for your replies, the polo does have those plastic covers that stop you releasing the side buttons. I'll know next time and maybe useful information for other members? they cannot all be as thick as me?

Front headrests
Went out today and purchased an off cut of carpet, it was in a roll and the length was just under 7 foot (I'm still £ - S - d) I dropped down one side of the back seat, pushed the front passengers side seat as far forward as possible, wound forward the seat and then tried to remove the headrest. How...

Re: Front assist, sensor impaired
This happened to me the other week, I was on the MI for a couple of hours in drizzle and it came up, knowing about this, didn't panic, pulled off in the next service station, cleaned the headlights and the VW front badge (road dirt had built up on the badge) drove off all was fine .

I think you'll find it's the OBD(2) the (II) are roman numerals for 2. Not trying to be pedantic .

Re: Fake front lamps
And what’s with the with fake “crystal” look corner lamps? That aren’t. The fake ‘crystal’ look corner lamps are the LED daytime running lamps on Polos that don’t have LED headlamps - only the GTI+ has LED headlamps as standard; they’re an extra cost option on all other models other than the Polo S...

Re: DSG possible issue

When i get into the car and let it warm up, as soon as i let go of the brake its off without any acceleration? The DSG is always lo...

Re: Help* Fuse for the Window Washer Motor
Hi I have the same problem with my 2018 model. The manual helpfully does not identify the washer motor fuse, only offering to identify a small number of the fuses under the dashboard. Can anyone offer an image of which is which? I note that there have been previous attempts to compile a list. Thank...

Re: Help! Rear wheel humming noise. Polo GTi
I'm curious, is the mooing sound only on the GTI? I dont recall seeing people mentioning any other Polo model with the same issue. Could it be because the GTI uses larger callipers, discs, pads over the standard models? Good thinking, nobody else has thought of that one? I've got just a SEL, and I'...

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?
Just looked at that "youtube" clip. Boy would that exhaust be tiring on a motorway either open or closed, the standard GTi exhaust was a better sound. The police have ANPR type vans out now that can detect loud exhausts and you could be fined.

Re: 2019 GTI OPF
How is it that people are complaining about the lack of crackles and pops with their new Polo's? The Grandson has just got himself a brand new Ford Fiesta ST and that has all the crackles and pops? He's 24 and he loves it, me, when your engine did that, there was something wrong with it, and you wer...

Re: Polo window tinting
Whilst my Polo was being built I asked for rear view camera and a few other things. When I went to insure it I told them about the items including the rear view camera and blind spot monitoring. They (LV) said if it was put in the car whilst being built it was not classified as an extra.
