Re: Steering stiff on sharp bends

How about taking it back to the salesman who cured his own stiff steering and ask him to switch the same thing off on your car?

Simple really

Splitting silverhairs? Say what you like, if the member had parked correctly, more than likely the other motorist would have parked centrally in his parking bay. Have you seen in America where some motorist has parked badly in his own bay, they film two cars parked really close to either side...

No drips or fires and no smells. The waxoil is still on the rusting part. but it seems other members know better?

Re: How do people fund their new Polo

The longest part of that wait will be for the price point to drop to £20k for a small "family" capable car. More and more e-cars coming though, like the e-308 and the e-corsa. They're in the same sector as the Polo in terms of size. Not my cup of tea, I don't like electric cars that can have an ICE...

Re: 2019 R-Line - Engine Rusting!

So I've had my car for 2 weeks after waiting 6 months from ordering it and already started to have issues with it. The car has just done under 500miles and I've had to top of the coolant and noticed the stop-start doesn't work due to High Power Consumption (Even though I have nothing else running a...

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?

Just did my first 100 mile journey, all motorway of course. So simple and pleasant. Went a little over speed limit for a bit and got 46.5 mpg. Pulled up in the car park to where I'm staying and gave a little push on the accelerator while stationary and got a great pop. It's the first time I've hear...

Re: What MPG are owners getting in the real world?

I have blind spot detection and the one time it comes in handy, is when your in a car park and you drive into a clear space with spaces either side of you, you may have parked in a position well away from the others, but when you come out, though there's many free spaces in the car park, you get so...

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?

If you have a normal size tyre in your boot and not a space saver, you will have a problem dropping the floor. I have a normal size tyre in my SEL, but the battery is under the bonnet, my mate down the road who has a GTI+ with a normal size spare tyre, he cannot lower his floor, it sits at an angle
