Re: Polo gti 6n2 won’t start!
Classes as a modification as its factory fitted - some insurers use that as a reason to reject beleive it or not And good :) what was the fix? The chip for the key was held on to the ignition barrel by a cable tie & I didn’t know. Pulled the cable tie off n obviously the chip fell off. Taped th...

Or you tell your insurance that you have no immobiliser [emoji854] .. not been disconnected, all sorted now [emoji4]alexperkins wrote:Nice way to invalidate your car insurance
Better to pick up a used immobiliser, and new chips for the keys and get them reprogrammed

Re: Polo gti 6n2 won’t start!
Thought as much, what I did was get an ecu, immobiliser box and key chip from another polo. It all has to come from the same polo. The part number will be on the ecu, try to get the same code. Glad you found out the problem. I’ve got an auto electrician coming out to disconnect it [emoji23] Sent fr...

This 100% sounds the what mine used to do and it was the immobiliser. Mine would cut out while driving and not start for anywhere between 5 and 30 minutes. Re: Polo gti 6n2 won’t start!
It does for literally a second maybe 2 then cuts out, try starting it again & it doesn’t. But if you leave it like 10 mins or so it’ll do the same thing
