Took delivery of my GTI+ last Tuesday.

Well it had to happen to someone and that someone was me. My car has broken already. Dsg won’t engage drive or park. Couldn’t wait on the AA to come out this morning as I needed to leave for work. so will let you all know what happened and what is going on later tonight.

Just after a week of ownership and 200 miles I’m getting 35 mpg according to the car. Not taken it for a long run yet only town driving. No mad driving mostly in normal mode the road I live on is a pain 4 miles of 40 then 30 then 40 so thinking this could have an impact on the mpg ?

They are ok. Very minimal road sounds in the cabin and good grip so far. It hasn’t rained yet so can’t say what they will be like in the wet.

My GTI+ came with Michelin primacy 3 tyres

I thought I would hate my Parker wheels and regretted not getting the bigger ones after I ordered. But actually the parkers look awesome on my limestone grey GTI +

I got a pack of 2 faraday pouches off amazon for £7 and just pop the keys in it when I’m at home. Blocked the signal from the key so it can’t be stolen that way. Let’s be honest if they want to steal you car nothing you do to deter them will stop them from doing so. Most decent cars stolen these day...

I noticed my cars air con dips too when you depress the peddle.

Sport mode really makes the car come to life. Did put foot to the floor and it flew. I know the noise it makes is somewhat artificial but those pops. Normal mode was a little sluggish I thought. But let’s be honest it’s gonna be in sport mode all the time.

Just the nav. Didn’t see the need for any others. Limestone grey looks amazing on the car. Now off for the first drive. .

She has arrived and what an amazing thing she is. A lot bigger than I thought it was.

My Polo GTI+ Is being delivered today. A long 5 month wait finally over. Will take some pics and upload to the pic post this afternoon when she is safely in my drive.

Amazing to see more people taking delivery. Looks great in white. I am taking delivery of mine next Tuesday, 5 more days not that I’m counting . It’s been a long 5 months.

Delivery date confirmed for next Tuesday 19th June. 5 months of waiting finally at an end. Can’t wait to actually see it in the flesh.
