Actually this is my 4th car with electric power steering - 1998 and 2003 Astras, then 2010 Polo, ~300K miles of driving. Never felt a tug at engine off in these 20 years.

What I am noticing - three times now in just over three months - is that occasionally at stop time (in start stop) the power steering gives itself a big tug, spinning the wheel within my hands. Well of course the car is bigger, quieter and more refined all round. The new engine is very willing revver but it seems you need to use the gears rather more to achieve the same level of progress, that 1.2 was a great motor, but lets see if things improve once we have passed the 1000 km mark ...

I would be more hopeful that the tracker changed when the cars were on the boat - "job done"

Given the level of interest in wk 21 build, I have the impression that the build was intended for the ship. We shall see.
