Brill, just what I needed...thank you!

All now wired in and working.

Re: Where does the wire go for rear dash cam?

The trouble is, there is no plastic trim on the boot itself...it's all solid metal. So what look like trim clips, or screw covers, are actually just dimples in the metal: https://i.ibb.co/6RN8KFq/rear-dash-cam3.jpg So short of drilling holes in the metal (which ain't happening!), I'm not quite sure ...

Re: Where does the wire go for rear dash cam?

D'you mean the rubber tubing here: https://i.ibb.co/vBPxsFJ/rear-dash-cam2.jpg If that's what you mean, I can see where the cable would go into it...but where could it come out? Presumably that tube carries the wires for the heated rear windscreen (which attach to it internally)? I can't see where t...

Where does the wire go for rear dash cam?

I've managed to get the front dashcam installed on my gf's 65 plate GTi (6C) and now in the process of trying to get the rear one installed. And I'm looking at it and thinking...how the heck's this going to work?! If the rear cam is installed at the top of the rear windscreen, then it's not too far ...

Re: Fuse overview VW Polo 6R and 6C

I'm trying to hardwire a dashcam into my g/f's 65 GTi (6C) and not sure about the fuse connections. It's got parking mode so needs Acc and Vcc. Re the fuses to piggyback onto - from the PDF diagrams above (Polo 6C 2014-2018), I'd gone for Vcc => fuse 5 (driver's door control unit) and for Acc => 23 ...

Re: Rear Dashcam 6C 64 Plate

Hi I've fit a blackvue cam front and rear and yes like other cars that have trim to hide wires this model doesn't so I've taken a few photos if this helps This is the only solution I could come up with without drilling holes etc . I've also hard wired the camera to inable the park mode when vehicle...

Re: Optional Armrest Factory Fit

I retro fitted an armrest on my GTI and it's so far the best thing I've done to the car. It just flips up when you need the handbrake and otherwise gives you somewhere to rest your left elbow. An absolute pain to retrofit (on the GTI anyway, because of the cupholder) but I think it's well worth get...

Yep I'm a fan of the rubber ones too. They handle wet much better than carpet and they're easier to clean (IMHO :D )

Re: Polo 6R/6C Photo Gallery

Love the interior. What won it for me over the Fiesta ST. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161029/b2a995356941698ba4e715fa97d5058f.jpg Are those the seats it came with? The one I'm looking at has some <whisper> pretty naff <\whisper> tartan cloth effort. Not a deal breaker but wouldn't be high up ...

New Polo owner - need pointers on cruise control and nav...

Hi everyone First post here so firstly...hello everyone! Currently in the process of purchasing a 6c Polo GTi and I'm looking at a couple of add-ons (OK OK...so it's officially my g/f's car but if I drive it enough I think I should be able to claim squatters rights :D ) So the first thing ...
