Re: Gti+ lead times
Lol! Let’s see how accurate my dealer is and if it ends up that way knowing we ordered a few weeks apart from each other. Should it come early I will tease you with pictures and a review just to help ease your wait

Re: Gti+ lead times
Forgot to say that the dealer managed to find a GTi in the system that had been ordered but still able to add my options to it. I’m expecting to get it by end of June which looks like a 4 month lead time. More bearable than 6 months but only just

Re: 2019 lead times
Great thanks that’s really helpful. Hopefully I’ll get a build date soon then. I am not blessed with patience

Re: 2019 lead times
Mine still says with the factory on the app. What the experience on how long it takes to allocate a build date?

Re: New Gti / Gti +
Thanks monkeyhanger that’s reassuring as mine are 9 and 6 and I’m tall so looks like I don’t need to worry. How do you feel about the boot size. My old 6C GTi was hopeless and the new one still seems small knowing I can’t lower the shelf.

Re: New Gti / Gti +
My daily driver is a facelift Leon 1.8 FR and I’ve chosen the GTi + as it’s replacement . I’ve enjoyed the Leon and it’s a quickish car but not a patch on the Polo. It feels comfortable, nimble and responsive and apart from the door cards feels much nicer and modern in the cabin than the Leon. I als...

Re: Quick poll on alloys- Parkers or Brescias
I’d agree with that. The Parkers looked too small in my view in the wheel arches and the Brescia to me were a fine ride even in sport suspension with less noise than I was expecting. I found the ride far smoother and controlled both in primary and secondary ride than my 6C GTi. Also far far better t...

Re: Quick poll on alloys- Parkers or Brescias
Yep the car is great whatever the wheels chosen. I drove a 69 plate car that was the exact car I wanted at the same price I paid for a brand new one. It was daft though that the cost of the nearly new one was far more expensive to buy on finance than a brand new one due to the lack of competitive pc...

Re: Quick poll on alloys- Parkers or Brescias
Well I drove the model with Brescias and found the car really smooth and comfortable for me to seal the deal. Car way better than my old 6c GTI! Luck me there is a car at stage 10 that they added my options to so only about 3.5 months to wait

Re: Quick poll on alloys- Parkers or Brescias
Thanks all. I be found a dealer who has two cars with both wheels. I think I’ll try the 18’ s first and see what the ride is like. Reports of tyre noise was putting me off but if that’s fixed by better tyres that may swing it.

Quick poll on alloys- Parkers or Brescias
I really can’t decide between them and thought I’d see what the consensus is on preference

Re: Gti+ lead times
Thanks all for the replies. It looks a long lead time still! I’m not sure my impatient nature could manage that length of time without going crazy I wonder if any are in the pipeline that could shorten the wait as if not it might be nearly new.

Gti+ lead times
Hi all
Thinking of a new vs used gti+ as finance deals are attractive on new but I’m put off by the long lead times. Does anyone know if this is now quicker than the 9 months when I looked last year?
