I was chatting to VW yesterday and according the the systems the earliest I will see my GTI plus is February next year but even then they cannot confirm that. I actually just changed my order to Limestone today after seeing some photos of one!

Tuner in Belgium already have a tune for the EA888.3b in the Tiguan/Arteon doing 260bhp and 295Nm. APR are working on that platform now in the states so it will be interesting to see what comes of it.

I spoke to VW Live Chat today too, they confirmed the wireless charging function would be dropped, all other (possible) spec changes we’d have to wait for. Also confirmed the the factory is closed until 31st July so I won’t get a build date notification until after that (ordered GTI+ on 30th ...

What is this WLTP I keep seeing and what will it mean for me? I only ordered the car 2/3 weeks ago so absolutely no chance of it being here for the mystical 15th of August date...

I’ve ticked everything bar smokers pack, park assist and voice activation.

My order number is now showing on the My VW app. I suppose that’s progress of sorts

Doesn’t show all my options ticked though...

I’m really looking forward to mine. Just a long wait, doubt I’ll see it this year to be honest. Anyone seen a Reef Blue GTI in person?

Brilliant... I’m sure the wait will be worth it. Hopefully build up a small stash of subtle bits to go on when it arrives.

Afternoon all. I’ll be placing my order this coming week after a bit of time thinking over what options I want for sure. Drove a pretty bog standard GTI today and it felt superb. Some of the plastic quality is something left to be desired however overall great little car.
