Re: Michelin PS4

For those with a GTI. I have changed the tires to a set of Michelin PS4's from the Bridgestone Turanzas that came standard with the car. Unfortunately, as I expected a significant improvement specifically with regard to tramping or wheel spin when taking off, the PS4's in my opinion, are only above ...

Re: GTI and GTI plus owners experiences

VW tyre choices are a lottery. Just hope you don't get Bridgestone Potenza S001 or RE050A. Every time I get Bridgestones on a FWD VW, tramping is ridiculous, ruins the car - like making Usain Bolt run in wooden clogs. Damp grip is terrible too. No tramping on the R, but turn in grip below 10C is ve...

Re: New GTI + delivery

Hi Chaps, posting from South Africa here. Just some info as to why the possible delays for new orders of the new GTI. Went into a local dealership here and a sales person told me that the demand for the NON GTI Polos were so high, that the production of GTI was actually halted. Here in South Africa,...

Re: 2018 Polo Armrest

To note, to the guys that have an arm rest on their Polos. You have an option to extend the arm rest forward so as it almost sits above the handbrake, here in South Africa, a local sales person mentioned to me that when extending the arm rest forward, it does know keep a staright angel and almost po...

Re: Tyres

The Polo GTI which has my name on it, with the 18s Brescia wheels, looks like is fitted with Bridgestone Turanza's.

Re: Polo GTI Seats

Hi chaps, posting from South Africa here. Weirdly enough, the "Art Velours Titan black leather seats" are a standard option here in South Africa, we do not get the red tartan option. I have gone through to a dealership to view a Polo GTI and in my personal opinion, the Art Velours Titan bl...
