Re: Dashcam doesn’t turn off

Thanks again,

If i’m honest i’m not entirely sure what i’ve got it hooked up to at the moment. I’ll give it a try and hopefully this will remedy the problem!

Re: Dashcam doesn’t turn off

Hi Marco,

Thanks for the reply.
With the Nextbase, all I have in the hardwire kit is a the red cable for the fuse and a black cable for the earth which I have connected to a bit of metal under one of the trims.

Maybe i’ve put it into the wrong fuse possibly?

Dashcam doesn’t turn off

Good morning guys, I hardwired a dashcam into my polo (GTI 6C? 16 plate) yesterday after I had a lovely bill the other day from a careless driver. It runs from the fusebox, up the pillar and along the headtrim. Below should be a picture of my fusebox, i’ve taken a look at the fuses sticky but i’m ju...

Re: 6C GTI Entry level mods

Hi mate, I’m not one for modding, there’s a lot of users on here that will be able to help with that but tyres gets raised a lot. I’ve just replaced my Bridgestone S001’s with Michelin Pilot Sport 4’s and they do feel a whole lot better (ATS Euromaster had a sale when you bought 4 michelin tyres whi...

Thanks for your help. I’m going to put a order in soon.
On Rimstyle.co.uk, they offer Tyre Pressure Monitoring Sensors, would you recommend adding them or are they not needed?

Re: Replacing Diamond Cuts.

Thanks for the reply SRGTD. I remember from last time I asked that you mentioned the VW Motorsport Alloys, I even favourited them on VW website & just never pulled the trigger. When I was looking at BBS they kept popping up. I wasn’t sure of how the grey would go with everything else & the o...

Replacing Diamond Cuts.

Afternoon guys, I’m looking to replace my Diamond Cut Alloys on my Polo GTI. I’ve been looking at BBS but cannot find something that I think would go great with the black. Not having a lot of information on brands. Is there any others recommended? Thanks! Edit: I orginally posted about refurbing the...

They do look nice in blue I must admit.
Mines a 16 plate, 3 door, black. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
I bought my mats from Volkswagen direct parts, 2 rubber front mats which are great with all this crap weather we are having recently. Cost was 55 with postage.

Hi mate,

I went into my local VW with my Polo GTI 16 plate and was told I would need a completely different unit and it wasn’t as simple as adding a code. Maybe not be the case for yourself though, worth a try asking.

Re: New to VW

Welcome,

There are a couple websites in which you can enter the specs of your car & they can tell you what its capable of. Although I cannot remember them atm, hopefully someone else will be able to help.

Enjoy your polo!
