Re: High Idle/ Rough engine

I had a poor experience in the past.. (idling at 1400 regardless of temp and no discernible high fuel consumption or roughness ) Took it in for investigation and was warned if it was not a warranty issue I would be charged £150 per hour. (my OBD Eleven data reported no such high particulates) They t...

Re: Interior Detailing

I took a quick look at that as never heard of it previously.. it's not cheap is it!

80ml does 1 sq/m small bottle will do 1 1/2 and they recommend doing it every 6 months. Think I'll just be careful

Re: Oil change schedule

it depends .. as usual. My Polo was shipped with long service interval (according to the plate by drivers door (can't think offhand what the codes is and working presently) VW in UK, (in their wisdom?) decided to change it to yearly/10,000 miles. I use an indy now and they read the plate and reset i...

Re: 2024 Model Year Polo R Line

I also have the heated washer jets as I specced the winter pack. They are still not that great when the window is fully iced up and you end up using a lot of the washer fluid to melt the ice. The heated windscreen option is the best option but they don’t have that for the Polo. apologies for interj...

Re: SPAM Email from VWFS

I'm assuming the Email that I got this morning supposedly from VW Financial Services, is SPAM? Titled: Be prepared to use your FS.ID also in the future etc. etc. I too received a similar email and tried the usual log in rather than the link. only to find that my password is not recognised and had t...

Re: Retrofitting parking sensors that link to the infotainment system

I guess if the 'alternative' to what I posted is not what the poster wants (I have no problem with choices a person wants.. non of my business) ...

... then my question would be; could I get the car spec I want for less than my splashing out for after market OEM fitting?
