Do either of you know whether the DSG has the "high+" ASB module as standard which would make upgrading to ACC easier?

If it means messing with the brakes, I'll stick with standard cruise control. If I can upgrade with a bit of programming/a couple of other parts I'll go for it.

Ah damn. I haddnt considered there might be a different ABS module.

Do any of you know if its an easy job to upgrade the polo from standard cruise control to ACC?

If you already have standard cruise, will all the hardware already be present for ACC?

I've just this second filled out the form and sent it off to the ombudsman.

Oh lawd! Don't tell VW a bird was on the roof of your car, or they'll be voiding your warranty!

Weird, mine is a 2019, with satnav, and my base looks like the bigger one - though i havent looked at it next to another one, so hard to say.

no teeth/claw/beak marks on the plastic fart of the base, and no scratch marks on the paintwork on the roof from claws either.
I took it to the dealer, & they took photos and sent them to vw.
It lives in a garage overnight, so theres not even much of a chance for birds to be pecking at it!

Well, I got a response from VW - they are standing by "a bird did it"

Only things I can think to do now are:
Get another dealer to look & see if they will do it under warranty
Submit a case to the ombudsman

Anything else anyone can think I could do to get them to do it under warranty? I was ...

They havent given me a specific answer yet. The guy at the dealer did ask if i had put it through any car washes, and the answer was "nope, it came with a load of hand washing stuff so I've been using that"

Hi All. I've had my Polo since March, and noticed a month or so ago that the rubber seal around the aerial base had split/torn and was coming away.

I took it to the dealer for them to look at, and they've come back to me and said it can't be fixed under warranty as the cause is "outside influence ...

Got nearly 1800 miles on the clock now, overall average of 50mpg. I get about 55mpg on longer trips. (I stick to speed limits...I mean I actually do, even on the motorway - it's really not difficult with cruise control)

I have the 115 DSG.

Picked mine up today. Really happy, it's such a nice little car

Does everyone get a presentation box for their key, or did the sales man just think I'm pretty? (Didn't get any such treatment from the Renault dealer when I correct my previous car)
