Re: Does my polo's headlight beams look correct?
In my understanding, both headlights should be the same level. Thus one of them is either too high, or too low. Edit: I’m stupid. They are obviously level, they just have different light patterns. In HIDs you can adjust the focus, maybe halogens can too? The kerb thing, hmm, mine has always shined ...

Re: Does my polo's headlight beams look correct?
Aren't headlights aimed towards the kerb slightly and might this explain what you see? I was aware that they flick up to point towards signs and to not blind oncoming drivers, never knew about the kerb thing tho Also, if any other 2018 Polo owners with the halogen headlights, have the same pattern ...

Do my polo's headlight beams look correct?
Hey! See the images attached, when I am far from a wall, you can see that the (passenger) left low beam, has a higher flick up, compared to the right low beam. I thought that both beams would have an equal flick up? Does anyone know if this is correct or is there something wrong with my (driver side...

Re: Start/Stop Issues 'vehicle power consumption high'
That helps alot, with my daily commute only being 5 miles one way, and the need for heated rear window, mirror and front demist, alongside with full lights, and with the lower battery capacity, this is the perfect storm for my start/stop to cease working. My commute is 3 miles, stop/start has alway...

Re: How to find state of charge of battery?
A very good point - I think that I put the one for my wife's Polo in a very safe place! Edit:- the OP was looking for a SoC reading, that is just a current/present voltage reading from a battery being charged by the alternator. I was just about to say that, thanks :D I have the VW connect dongle th...

Re: Start/Stop Issues 'vehicle power consumption high'
Lower capacity of charge in the Winter, heavier use of heating (wing mirrors, rear screen and maybe heated seats) and lighting all take their toll. It's harder to restart a cold car (not that it's advisable to do so from a wear point of view), so the car's battery will not support stop-start until ...

How to find state of charge of battery?
I was wondering if anyone knows the shortcut to find the state of charge (in %) of the cars battery?
I know by holding the 0.0 button, will show the SoC in the golf mk7, in the MFD, but that doesn't work for me in the mk6 polo.
All help is appreciated

Re: Start/Stop Issues 'vehicle power consumption high'
Jericho704, I'm curious to know which halogen bulbs you have swopped for LEDs ? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B078XQY3X7/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 These ones, have been good so far Update After taking my car out for a few consecutive motorway runs, the stop/start works, m...

Re: Start/Stop Issues 'vehicle power consumption high'
Anything else consuming power, like a hardwired dashcams? Don't forget that battery capacity is lower in the cold. All those things consuming power - they're off now, but are they usually off? Do you do mainly short (<5 miles) journeys that don't give the battery a chance to recover? Have you left ...

Start/Stop Issues 'vehicle power consumption high'
Hey fellow polo owners! I seem to have an issue, with my 2018 SEL 115ps, with only 1600 miles on it, that has been persisting for at least a month now, where my Start/stop never triggers, and the display shows " Vehicle power consumption high " No errors are displayed in the mfd or gauge c...
