Re: 2018+ GTI / R-line side skirt removal?
Hi. So I did consider the stone chip issue but I am pretty sure the Golf R has gloss black skirts so assumed it would not be such an issue. Plus I have a small amount of clear PPF which will be applied to the most exposed part in the front wheel arch. As for it matching other areas, I have different...

2018+ GTI / R-line side skirt removal?
Hello - how do the side skirts on the AW variant get attached / unattached from the car?
Is it 2 torx 1 bolt and then slide it off?
I am planning on having them sprayed gloss black.

UK AW GTI Brake Disc Size Front/Rear
Hello, I was wondering what the brake disc size was for front and rear on the 2018-2021 polo gti and what are the factory OEM choice of discs and pads? Also if anyone had any recommendations on if there were better brake components available than OEM (without changing calipers etc) for a mapped GTI ...

Re: Polo AW Photo Gallery
I think V2 was the ones Gav could get the quickest.
For non track use i find the KW V1’s perfect.
And yes you need the cancellation kit if the car has DCC i believe.

Re: Led fog lights
You can fit LED’s but likely need coding changed to avoid errors.

Re: Bonnet to wing gaps adjustment ?
Hi I think there are microadjustments you make but if it had changed since vw touched it i would take it to them and say the alignment is off. Radiator means the bumper must of been removed. Ever since i had a upgraded front mount intercooler by bonnet to grill gap has been wrong so assume touching ...

Re: Bonnet to grille panel gap… how to adjust?
Yes fully engaged. Tried adjusting the latch, the rubbers and the latch attached to the bonnet itself.
Will have to take to a bodyshop or vw specialist see if they know something i dont.

Re: Bonnet to grille panel gap… how to adjust?
Adjusted the rubbers but they seem to not affect the area I am having an issue with. I notice there is a latch either side with a small amount of movement available. But even at its lowest the drivers side is still too high. I can get the passanger side flush by moving the latch but for now ive trie...

Bonnet to grille panel gap… how to adjust?
Hi all. I noticed when looking head on at the car there is a larger gap on one side vs the other (pic below) Now checking through some photos it looks like it’s only ever been like this since REVO HQ had it for when it was made stage 2, this was over a year ago now so suprised I only just noticed it...

Re: Advice after hitting pothole that was not visible.
Jacked up and checked under and inside the rims and tyres.
Looks fine. Fortunate i suppose. I usually dodge potholes even if they are tiny, even drain covers. This one was just invisible it seems!

Re: Advice after hitting pothole that was not visible.
I have visually inspected the outside of the tyre wall and the rim as best possible, nothing untoward. Perhaps the fact the OZ HLT formula’s are potentially made of stronger stuff. Tried to look at the insides but ideally need a ramp due to being down fairly low on coilovers. Drove down a straight r...

Advice after hitting pothole that was not visible.
Pissing it down all day and dark so no wonder could not see it. Was the loudest bang I have heard in the car, instantly assumed 2 broken alloys and popped tyres but after a quick look all seems intact. What other havoc could it of created to steering and suspension? My KW springs and shocks look oka...
