Went to see my local dealer yesterday and they didn't know anything about being able to order the Polo GTI. He did say that delivery on any VW car was around 6-8 months and that a price increase was due 1st December.

The 115bhp is the one to go for; annoys the socks of all those spotty teenagers in their supped up Fiestas and Astra's etc.

Well, I've just been told my Polo R-line is on an 18month waiting list!!! So this is going to be an interesting conversation with the dealership to see what they can do to offer me an alternative vehicle at the old price when my vehicle order was placed in December 2018.
