I've been wondering for a while about swapping the rear drums on my 1.4 TDI for disks off a GTI, or just using aftermarket ones in general. Does anyone know how hard this would be, what would be the right ones to use, any additional parts I would need etc. Obviously brakes are fairly ...

Yes this should be possible. I did a similar thing a while ago but to hold a handheld radio instead of a phone. If I remember correctly, the holder is held on by 1 screw behind the circular cap in the center, use a flat-head screwdriver or something to remove the cap. There are 2 screws on the ...
