Well I now have a 2015 1.4 tdi 75ps Polo with an RTE gearbox, that had a PHB thanks to my local VW specialist who fitted what I provided. The box came from an identical spec car apart from it was BMT and mine is just blumotion, and a couple of years older. The gearboxes looked identical though ...

Hi Exact same problem! I need a PHB or that's what is on mine but there's an RTE available. Mines bluemotion, start stop manual 5 speed. IDC if the gear ratios are different. They won't be out by much i don't think. The fitment looks the same. But the phb is twice as much as the rte! I'm asking ...

the driveshaft is upgraded from hollow to solid and that's all i know and may be duff info.
I'm sick of looking at bits now. once my box is off i think i'll just buy this and have done with it and possibly sell the extra used parts.

I suspect that +1 is within spec for your car though that may be the cause of the pull. It's just unfortunate. I agree too with amer that perhaps there's wear and tear on another component but the steering not being held properly could also be the cause.

Try taking it to a different Kwik fit and tell them that you had the tracking done elsewhere and hopefully they'll feel sorry for you and slag off the other depot and fix your car properly this time. For free ideally.
