The EML triggered on mine last month.
Took the dealer 2 goes to decide it was the HPFP and it needed replacing.
All done under warranty luckily. First question from them was “is the car modified / remapped”

Re: Tyre Wear - help/advice needed
Here’s mine after it’s 2nd Service last month at 18k miles (did it early as had to get the HPFP replaced under warranty) - original Continentals still. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200308/b14a7081457df506e1050277fe1c436f.jpg Will swap fronts to back in the near future to even out all 4 tyres s...

1.0 TSI - 115ps remap to 150ps
Looks like Racingline will be releasing their OEM+ remap for the Up GTI next week which of course uses the same 115ps engine as found in the Polo. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190817/dd2e9e7fba32d65c014ca542e5f61592.jpg https://www.facebook.com/299731173468132/posts/2323699331071296?s=10000456...

I think come 1st July Sainsbury’s fuel stations may well be supplied by Esso Sainsbury’s own Nectar and Esso is replacing BP as the fuel retailer on that loyalty scheme. I was using BP ultimate 97 and Sainsbury’s SUL 97 but after monkeyhanger’s in-depth explanation last time on another thread I’ve s...

Do I have cruise or not?
The stalk / controls you see is for setting a visual / audio speed limit warning to ping a message on the dash that you’ve gone above your set warning limit. Doesn’t cut the throttle / prevent you from going past the limit as far as I’m aware. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It definitely actual...

115ps 1.0L Review / Discussion
Down graded from a manual 2.0 TDI 150 ps car to a 115ps Polo SEL DSG. Missing 100 lb ft of torque [emoji22] but it’s a lighter car and picks up speed surprisingly well as long as you’ve got it in Sport mode. Normal Drive mode setting means it changes gear way too early (2k revs every time) so you’re...

Re: Front Assist?
Can’t remember now - I just went into the vehicle settings / driver assistance menus and switched off as much as I could [emoji2] left the Front Assist sensitivity on medium though but it’s not triggered as much as it did in the 1st 2 weeks of driving the car. So the changes must have done something...

Re: Crack / Line on Infortainment Screen
Looked at my screen today after seeing this post - has the line also!
But not bothered by it really - only see it if you’re in the vehicle settings menu. Don’t see it in any other screens.

Re: Front Assist?
I’ve turned off as much of the front assist system as allowed in the menu. I’ve not had any of the warnings / self braking trigger since so all good for me.

Where is the Air Con drain tube?? Another design fault if it gets blocked that easily - just like the rear seat belt malarchy

Who’s your VW dealer if you don’t Mind me asking? £570 is not bad and rather tempting to have that feature retrofitted
