when i had my GTI I had the box refurbed by these people THREE times and the next owner had it done from them twice AS WELL!!

they were friendly enough on the phone but sometimes took me days trying to phone them and they NEVER returned phone calls. VERY frustrating company!!!

Would also depend on how far you want to go in terms ofcost? If money isnt a major object then I would I would look at the house of Kolor Kandy Oriental Blue- looks stunning under light and still has a simple but attractive look in winter: http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/6/web/2322000-23...

fricken sods law. Get the car back from the garage after they fixed the wiring loom and now the gearbox has gone. For the third time. After only 2400 miles of it being replaced. Less than two months ago  Going to have the box replaced under warrenty and then drop the price on the car to £3200...

Shell V-Power petrol is bloody amazing as well. with V-power i get around 31-32mpg. plus the added bonus of a highly improved and smoother throttle response. without V-power i get anything between 23 and 27mpg (depending on which other s**t fuel im using). it might be 6 or 7p a litre more, but if yo...

6n2 with anything bigger than 16" looks pretty silly.

on the 9n/9n2 you can get away with 17's looking quite good though. Saw a 9n on 17" golff mk4 santa monica's and it looks REALLY good.

Fancy a swap for a set of mk5 polo 6n2 GTI rims plus a little cash your way? They were refurbed once upon a time but will need to be done again really. The centres are powder coated black: http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/6/web/1626000-1626999/1626790_3_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain....

i could get a 200 amp alt for £200 to recoil it to double still only gives me 140 amps and for £200 it's not worth it as for the voltage i could always run 16v  true enough you could get the alt for £200, but unless you are handy with a welding machine you would have to pay out near eno...

easier to get the existing alternator recoiled to kick out more current than fit a different one as it almost always means custom brackets. There are companies that will do this for you- they can normally go as much as double the power of your existing alt. costs around £200 or so. bare in mind you...

THERE IS NO WAY TO DO THIS - PERIOD!

It CAN however be done the other way around. i.e. vw head unit to an aftermarket changer.

but aftermarket head unit to OEM changer is a 100% definate no way.
