Sorry for the double post, but does anyone have any updates? VW hasn’t replied to me in over a month (slipped my mind to chase them up because of work), but going to start chasing them up again to get a resolution.

I have the exact same issue as you with the clunking on my new Polo GTI. Called two dealerships and I got told it’s normal. Haven’t seen any performance issues with the brakes, but I have yet to slam on my brakes. Will probably get it checked out after the break in period.
