Thanks for the reply Rob, weird thing is its not done it again. The fact that it was ok after stop and start again leads me to think it may have something to do with the electronic steering but not intirerly sure. #gottolovecars

Hi there.
Can any one help?
I have a 2005 1.2 petrol polo.
This has happened twice now but only for short periods.
Whilst driving down a straight ish road at about 50mph I heard a knocking from front end then as I slowed for traffic the steering notched slightly and the slower I got the knocking ...
