Re: New polo rline. Heater matrix cover cracked from factory. Poor service by vw and vw assist

I had three new polos from 2018 to 2020, all of them had problems that emulated from the factory, but ultimately were never resolved by the dealer, in the end the dealer made such a bad job of repairing the third one that they had to buy the vehicle back from me. I was then left without a vehicle bu...

Re: Rogue VW Polo Gti+!

Not sure if I admire the OP's loyalty or not. If you've had two out of three VWs give problems, why would you give them a fourth attempt as he did with the Gti+? I certainly wouldn't give them a fifth go! The first VW was a Golf R, which was fault less, the problems started when I started buying AW...

Rogue VW Polo Gti+!

I have finally off loaded my second troublesome VW Polo Gti+, so this is a polite warning to anyone looking at buying my old vehicle. Don’t! It’s a lemon. Reg Number is GF20 AYP. A white GTI+, got a great spec, but please just walk away, it really isn’t worth the trouble. The vehicle developed a ser...

Wow, bought a car you haven’t driven. That’s absolutely crazy. I thought the A4 was the bee’s knee’s anyway. I dread to think what you spend on new cars!!!! The way I read it is your long posts here are trying to convince yourself you have done the right thing. I’m not convinced of your own convinci...

Re: Delivery/Tracking

I've just about had it with VW! I've finally been told that my car wasn't on the boat that I was told previously about 2 months ago, and so hasn't arrived in Emden. Its still in transit but my dealer can't tell me what boat it is on. Delivery was slated for July but this clearly now isn't going to ...

Re: Vehicle Deliveries

Well after 9 months I finally collected my replacement Polo Gti+. It arrived at dealers in early March, after reordering in October. Unfortunately a drop of C19 stopped any chance of pick up, add into the mix some key-working and it was early July before I had time to sort out the part exchange and ...

The polo Gti is showing on the UK Configurator again, so looking promising that it will be available to order soon.

Re: VW Polo GTI is already phasing out...

I ordered my replacement Polo Gti+ Back in October for the duff one first supplied. It’s been at the dealers since Mid March, C19 prevented its pick up, and I’m still waiting for a day when I can collect it. I’ve worked all way through the lock down and now work load has increased, but I am hopefull...

Re: GTI and GTI plus owners experiences

So, the polo to replace my rejected polo gti+ finally arrived at the dealers mid March after a 5 month wait. I was supposed to pick it up a few days after going along and inspecting it. Unfortunately the whole virus thing kicked in and now a bit of an unknown. To top it off my partner has decided s...

New VED rates from 01st April.

The VED is going up in April 2020, suddenly started getting pop advertising to save money before the increases etc from dealers. Basically going from the outdated NEDC CO2 ratings to more real world WLTP CO2 ratings. I’ve not found much about the actual costs of the rise, but have found this; Curren...

Re: 2019 lead times

Hi all, Things have moved on a bit now. I got the 5c on Sunday and 6-in UK this morning so definitely getting there now. I’ve pretty much come round to not waiting to register it and appreciate the dealer will be looking to meet their 2019 targets. I imagine it’ll be with them now sometime next wee...

All seems like an awful lot of effort tracking ships when not really sure what ship the car is on? It won’t make it turn up any quicker!! :D

Re: Help! Rear wheel humming noise. Polo GTi

I used to work in the motor trade over a decade ago (motor vehicle tech) and I experienced many different faults on cars (a French brand in this instance). We had hundreds of “product enhancements” that we could apply to fix all sorts of issues. I think if enough polo owners are having issues that a...
