Mate of mine told me theres a key sequence i can do to save me having to take it to a stealer? Searched for it but ...

Clutch Pedal Sticking?

Hi

Hope i got the right right Mk for our polo!

My missus just picked up an 02 Polo 1.2s, when we test drove it the clutch pedal stuck half way down and we couldnt change gear. The pedal pops back up if you give it a tug from the underside and then all is fine. The dealer said they fixed it and as ...

Yeah i get the feeling it might be getting quite deep now.

The car is my missus's so its not been cared for all that well and its also only worth £2k tops but if i dont get the rust sorted it going to be worth zip in a year two!

Need to get it fixed and then Part Ex it for a MkV i think.

Thanks

Are 1.9 Diesels normally noisey?

Hi

Our 1996 Diesel Polo is making any insults about diesels being tractors true! Its fine when its running along but when its idleing at the lights etc its annoyingly noisey. The noise sounds as if the exhaust is banging against something but a mechanic checked it out and said it was fine. Give it ...

Joe

PS i dont suppose u fancy swaping the car in your signature for a slightly rusting diesel polo, a tube of polos (in car) and about £4.87p do you? I reckon the missus might be impressed ;)

Hi

Our 96 Polo (metalic navy) has some blistering on the wheel arches. Its not to bad yet and would like to get it put right.

Any ideas on approximate costs?

Thanks

Message on Dash INSP-2 wont clear

Hi

On our 96 diesel Polo there is a message flashing away on our speedo saying Insp- 2. Its been on it since we had it. Im guessing its cos the last service wasnt VW.

Now i found a thingy on the forums that said about pushing the reset button with ignition is p2 etc but its doesnt seem to work ...
