Re: 5000K bulbs
Managed mine in the end, only difficulty I had was getting the drivers side bulb out, I was very tight in the holder! Can't say I can see a lot of difference between OEM and 5000k though, not enough to warrant changing the bulbs, I'm tempted to go for some of the Phillips LED conversion ones.

Re: What would you change about your Polo?
Got the covers off but I couldn't get the bulb and holder out, going to have another go at the weekend as I'm pushed for time at the minute.

Re: What would you change about your Polo?
Just tried changing my head light bulbs, after undoing the wrong torque bolts and having the bonnet fall on my head  got the units out but struggling to get the bulbs and holders out of their casing, not sure if it's my Elton John fingers or if I'm doing something wrong? Given up for the night ...

Re: How do people fund their new Polo
Also done mine on PCP as I change my car typically every 18 months, on my 3rd VW now and they've always written off any neg eq allowing me to start fresh, presumably I wouldn't get this if I were to go to another brand. I've done the maths and this is the cheapest option for me vs buying outright/le...

Re: Debating on 18" vs 17" & Sport Select
I've driven both and the difference between the two in terms of ride comfort is barely noticeable, the Brescias look so much better than the Parker's in my opinion. Driving in normal mode the car is a lot more comfortable than my 6C GTI.

Re: What would you change about your Polo?
Hi Andy
I'm not very good when it comes to taking cars apart, what would I need to do to change the speakers over? I can't see how I'd remove the speakers.

Launch control
Hello all Does anyone know the exact procedure for enabling the launch program? I've tried it from stationary holding the Esp button down until it goes into sport and then engaging sport mode and it works, but if you try to do it when the car is already in sport and ESP sport mode it doesn't work, d...

The stereo in this generation is truly awful! The sound is appalling.

Re: What MPG are owners getting in the real world?
I'm averaging about 32 MPG in my GTI, I do mainly short journies though under 10 miles, I have seen an average of 40 MPG on longer trips, I didn't really buy this car to study the fuel consumption though

Re: Any modified Polo's???
It was my car they did the development on, they're doing a GPF back system and a GPF delete turbo back system but the latter will require an ECU flash, for the time being mine is remaining standard though until I've done a couple of thousand miles and I know everything is working as it should be in ...

Re: GTI and GTI plus owners experiences
Just checked again and I can see what you mean now in how tight the arch liner is towards the back, I measured mine and both are about 20 mm clearance.

Re: GTI and GTI plus owners experiences
I've got a good 30-40mm clearance on the rear arch liners at their closest point.
