OK so got some new discs n pads fitted and had a quick look while it was on the ramp.

There's defiantly been movement in the linkages of some kind as we could see from markings where they used to be as opposed to where they are now.

Going in for a proper look tomorrow!

no there's no excess movement. when accelerating it doesn't jump or anything.

So can the mount be replaced?

hmmm oh bugger.

Ok... bit of a weird one but the only way to describe this is that my gearstick/knob position has totally moved? Neutral is now so far forward it feels like 2nd. 2nd and 4th feel like the same sort of position as neutral was and as you can imagine 1st, 3rd, and 5th are really, really far forward... ...
