Where can you get that from clawz? I've a Head Unit from the US and i can only get about half the radio stations clearly here in ireland. It'd definatly be worth it...even tho i dun listen to the radio that much... How much do you reckon it'd be?

I changed my gear knob to a momo one when i got the car. I'm nearly sure it's called a momo raptor. You have to pull up the old one and then pull the leather cover down over the rest of the gear knob. There's a solid metal clip around the VW gearknob at the bottom. You have to loosen this (or in my ...

That only works for Mk4's with the old style dash whereby you can change it to show the RPM by switching on/off ignition etc. It doesn't works for Newer Mk4's, Mk5's nor Mk6's.... It'd be cool if it did tho!

There is a way that you can change it with a vag-com tho! I've seen a pictures somewhere of ...

I've seen one in black and it looks classy. There's one about 40 miles from where i live when i'm at uni in dublin. Me and my friends often see it when we head down to the beach there (not in this weather mind).

Only ever seen a few but all have been in silver! If I find any pictures I'll post ...

€125 isn't too bad.....i got quoted €175 + €60 (labour) to chrome up my dash. Brushed aluminium/chrome is all the same to me if it saves me over 100 euro

Will the new head unit fit directly into the slot that the old one comes out of or does it need a spacer or something? It seems to me that the VW head unit's are not DIN sized...i.e. they appear to be taller than most other head unit....could just be my eyes ...

What's that? acd changer? or just a CD holder? If's it's a CD holder it'd be useful....perhaps more so than a covered tray style cubby hole...If it is a CD holder - it only holds 4CDs? or does more than one CD fit in each lil drawer?

cmon nelson these are all questions that need answering!!!
