After selling all my cars im left with a 2.0 sri vectra (TURD) and its killing £30 a week doing about 190miles, starting to annoy me compared to the diesels. Im stuck, both the 1.9d and 1.4 8v seem pretty similar, im just not sure if the petrol will be as good as a diesel on short runs.

Mine broke too and the guy at vw told me that with the central locking system you only have to turn the key very slightly and it opens the doors, there is no need to turn the barrell fully.
