Re: Fuel consumption data

I have yet to experience the constint resit of data and was wondering (since it all software based) if it has something to do with the Infotainment system installed? I have the Compostion Media fitted as standard and wondered if this may be an issue with the Dicsover Pro (NAV) system?

Re: Long Term Ownership.

To offer a balanced view these are the problems I've noticed so far: Moo’ing brakes on reverse (it happens less frequently now) Sound actor rattles (disabled - dont need it) Wiper blades made of sandpaper (this still annoys me to no end) Other than the above I still enjoy the vehicle and plan to kee...

Re: Quirks & Features

If you press once and then press and hold the unlock button and keep it pressed in all of the windows will open until you let go of the button. To put them back up you press once and then press and hold the lock button and they go up until you let go. This did not work on my mates Beats model, but ...

Re: Anyone had forced GPF regens yet?

Ja I have a few more images and no where can I see any probes or sensors after the "bulk" thing :P

I wonder if they didnt leave out the GPF in SA models to keep the cost down locally... since out air pollution isnt a problem for Government.

Re: Anyone had forced GPF regens yet?

I have yet to experience what you fellows are all talking about which made me wonder if this vehicle of mine has a GPF or not, its a 2019 (May) model. Today I had the opportunity to look under the car since it was in to rotate tyres. Please take a look at these images and let me know if the GPF is e...

Re: Tyre wear on Bridgestone (gti)

Never undertstood the tyre rotation thing. Just means you have to replace 4 x tyres at the same time instead of 2. :?: In therory the rear tires (if never rotated) will last for years and many thousands of kilometeres but they do also have a usable life time period so to speak (think its like 4 - 5...

Re: My Latest VW Purchase

The only thing VW make more of each year instead of cars, these sausages... I recall Richard Hammond's BIG TV series when he visited the factory in Germany and they made around 6 million of them a year.

I suspect it may be the type of partition used that comes into play.

Re: Infotainment SD card slots

Hi hollesk The Composition /Discover Media manual makes no direct referece to the size of the SD slot. I personally have a 32GB and it seems to work just fine. Also found this article on this forum referring to the last gen Polo's SD card sizes: https://uk-polos.net/viewtopic.php?t=66671 And in this...

Re: From bonneville alloys 17inch to brescia alloys 18inch

Hi, the gap between the 215/45 R18 is very small on the front suspension struts. So would the 225/40/ R18 not rub on the front suspension struts in comparison to the 215/40/ R18 I'm going to be getting michelin ps4's btw If you could share some pictures of the tyres and to see how much gap there is...
