Re: BlueGT Oxygen Sensor Problems

Thanks for reply! So I’ve just been on a 60 mile journey today and it has been absolutely fine and I’ve been doing up to 57mpg? I am wondering if it has something to do with the rain as when it happened yesterday I was driving in severe heavy rain? Is there anything under the car that could have got...

Re: BlueGT Oxygen Sensor Problems

I forgot to mention that I did disconnect and reconnect the plugs to both oxygen sensors before driving it this afternoon? Could it have been a bad connection caused my issue??

BlueGT Oxygen Sensor Problems

Hello All, So I am currently down in the middle of France with my BlueGT and today I have had some issues! Firstly I noticed that the fuel consumption was very poor this morning and also the start/stop system had deactivated and threw up an error warning. Then after another start up the engine warni...

Heko Wind Deflectors

Hi All, I’m in a dilemma, I’m looking to get some help wind deflectors but unsure whether to go with just a set of 2 for the front or get a full set for front and rear. Please can you post pics of yours fitted to your polos so I can decide. Cheers https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190716/31a0c06659...

Re: Recommendations - VW Polo 6C

Hi I have a Polo BlueGT and I am about to get some pressed metal number plates and heko wind deflectors, other than that my Polo has a black wrapped roof too which I think looks mint plus rear window tints. Here it is below : https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190706/e0e9d56147894e3e862a7a85798c14c2...

Re: Ride Qaulity Polo BlueGT

Hello, Me again! So today I have swapped my tyres front to rear! So I now how my brand new Michelin PS4’s on the front and the nearly new Bridgestone potenzas on the rear! I’ve been for a little drive this evening and all seems good! It appears that I no longer have to steer slightly to the right wh...

Re: Ride Qaulity Polo BlueGT

Hi All,

I think I may swap my wheels front to rear this morning and see if this improves it to see if the Bridgestone potenzas are causing me the problem!

Re: Ride Qaulity Polo BlueGT

I guess you are correct but it seems to be quite w bit that I have to correct and this only happens a little in the Golf I also own. However the polo has wider and low profile tyres? Does this make any difference? Also I have read that Bridgestone tyres are bad for being sensitive to camber? Sent fr...

Re: Ride Qaulity Polo BlueGT

I don’t think steering wheel is off centre as if I drive on the other side of the road it does the same but in opposite direction? And if I drive down the middle of the road it drives dead straight! I did read something about Bridgestone potenza tires being rubbish and could tramline??? Causing stee...

Re: Ride Qaulity Polo BlueGT

Thanks for reply!

Looking at my printout the toe in is the same in both sides but camber is significantly different but still in spec, can this be my problem?

Re: Ride Qaulity Polo BlueGT

Hello, so new tyres fitted to the rear and still have my steering issue! Emailed Vw to send me a copy of the alignment they carried out and seems there is still a red on the final measurements! Really annoyed and I’m assuming this is why my steering is still out?? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20...

Re: Turning Daytime Running Lights Off?

Hi,

There is a menu on my 2016 polo BlueGT in the car settings area on the centre console display / radio screen to de activate?

Failing that you may be able to activate the menu using a Carista device through an app on your phone or similar.

Re: Tyres

Good choice, 'A' rated for grip/braking in the wet and 'A' for noise, not so good for economy but always a compromise somewhere. Michelin PS4 and PS4S are getting pretty good reviews on other VW forums (golfgtiforum.co.uk and vwroc.com) where the majority of members have performance VW’s - GTI’s an...
