Has anyone changed 9n steering rack? any tips ?? if i take of tie rod arms will rack come out or do i need to lower subframe ??? Come on forum guys help me out !!!

Hi guys question how hard is it to change the steering rack on my 2002 1.2 polo do i need to remove the subframe or if i remove the tie rod arms will old rack come out ? also seen on ebay vag com copy cable and software are they any good and will it allow me to program modules ? cheers
