2015 Polo 1.2 TSI - Brake pads wear sensors?

Hi

Can anyone tell me if a 2015 Polo 1.2 TSI have wear sensors on the brake pads (front and rear)?

Thank you.

Rear shocks - 6C (2015 1.2 TSI)

Hi

Does anyone know what type of rear shocks a 2015 1.2 TSI has, mono tube or twin tube?

Left is weeping slightly so going to replace both. Looking on AUTODOC they do a mono and twin tube - which do I need?

Thanks

Re: 6C or 6R..I'm not sure

Quick question, I've seen it mentioned a couple of times and sliders question above has me thinking.. What sort of issues can occur with the settings, and why would I have issues with them by changing out the head unit / radio? Cheers. Yeah, all the settings you can personalise..... Light settings ...

Re: 6C or 6R..I'm not sure

Hi Tex.. The one I got only supports carplay and mirrorlink I got it from a shop on aliexpress called lemon shark, slow to dispatch but when actually shipped took only 4 days to ireland. They do android ones too, hopefully when the extension cables come everthing will work as it should, because thi...

Re: Servicing / timing belt cost -2015 1.2 TSI

Er... isn’t that what we already know? The point is that VW AG (Germany) say it’s a lifetime part. VW UK say 5 years. RUM does explain that in his reply above. Quite a lot on Google about this topic... with both opinions expressed. Yup, but as I am in the UK I’ll follow what VW UK recommend to main...

Re: Servicing / timing belt cost -2015 1.2 TSI

According to VW

https://www.volkswagen.co.uk/need-help/ ... elt-change

Every 5 years for cars after 2009. Cost is small in comparison to the cost if it snaps.

Servicing / timing belt cost -2015 1.2 TSI

I think there are lots of things that could potentially break (gearbox etc) out of warranty but are unlikely. Personally I think a car with 20k miles on it is too early for a timing belt change even after 5 years. Especially when VAG AG do not agree with VW UK. Also £672 for a polo service at an In...

Servicing / timing belt cost -2015 1.2 TSI

I’m getting it done along with a full service as I’m not sure what exactly was changed when VW serviced the car when we picked it up. We bought this car for our daughter, VW’s online service history is useless....bring back the book !! None of our VW’s will be going anywhere near a VW dealer for ser...

Re: Servicing / timing belt cost -2015 1.2 TSI

. I do agree it should be a serviceable item but five years with very low mileage for a ‘lifetime’ belt seems harsh when the cost to replace is so high. The cost of replacing the belt is nothing compared to the cost if the belt snaps. £400 once every 5 years is not a lot. Sent from my iPhone using ...

Re: Servicing / timing belt cost -2015 1.2 TSI

Is it the same with the 1.0 engine variant too? I’ve read a few articles suggesting that these belts were suppose the be lifetime but VW UK only are suggesting 5 years for a replacement. Not an immediate issue for us as the car is only 3.5years old so we have time to sit it out for a bit. Chains ar...
