Any update on this issue? My manual does exactly the same. Not every single day but often enough to worry me.

I have the same issue. Also in SA. Stops working randomly for a few days and then works again after 2 days or so. Going in for a service this week and asking them to check it.

I replaced the back box on my previous 6c 1.2 TSI with a smaller one and the drone was hideous.

Is this what you are looking for? Just put these on my R Line.

For me the catback resonated system sounds the best. Just a little extra. Non-resonated sound is way too loud for my taste.

Looking to do the same to my R line. Ive seen many vids of catback resonated systems on various 1.0 TSI motors and it sounds great. Especially Milltek systems. Way to expensive here in SA though.

It is very possible but your warranty will most likely be voided.
