I have noticed now that the immobiliser light flashes why trying to use the key with the button which I believe means it’s not programmed properly to the car? And this is probably the issue..

Posting on behalf of my sister who just bought a second hand polo 2008. The car came with 2 keys one has a small button on it that doesn’t seem like it does anything? And the other just just a regular key. It seems to cut out a couple seconds after starting it with the key with the button on it ...
