so can you enable anti hijack on the gti? what about so it only unlocks one door with one press of the remote and all of them with two? possible? what about any other things?

it was disconnected when i bought the car (child seat), this is one of the things i'm trying to find out, if it is reactivated using vag-com

just thought i'd start this post to try and clear up fact/myth about what VW can do with their VAG-COM stuff to a 6n2 GTi. i'm trying to find out stuff, such as if a passenger airbag is deactivated, is this done through the vag-com, and thus reactivated the same way? can the doors on my gti be set t...

you guys say that the vag gives you 'airbags' - is this the option of deactivating them?

i know this post is a bit old, but thought i'd ask anyway - waveydavey, my gti is leaking washer fluid from its front bumper - the pass side headlight washer i think. and also the airbag light has become perm. lit the last couple of days - would just be interested to find out what was up with yours ...

reading another post i notice aparently you can turn the passenger airbag on and off using the vag cable and laptop, currently my gti has the passenger airbag deactivated by vw - is this all thats needed? plugging into the system and turnign back on again? anyone know?
