Hi All,
I’m thinking about getting an underseat sub (trying to reclaim some of my youth!) but really struggle finding any advice on where to ground the wire inside the cabin. Does anyone know of any good places?
Thanks guys!
Paul

Re: GEARBOX need answers lol
Not exactly the font of all knowledge where the gearbox is involved but spotted this on eBay (literally the only 9N3 GTI gearbox listed!): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114209418149 Best of luck to you mate - check out some polo groups on Facebook and put the question to them also, it’s surprising what...

Re: Yet another remote central locking topic!
Awesome. Thanks mate! By the way - for the remote locking that wasn't working. Either the CCM needs replacing or it could be an issue with the remote key (the battery or transponder chip?) so maybe that's worth a look in. Yes, but I don't know what to replace the CCM with??? According to vag-com th...

Re: Yet another remote central locking topic!
Right, hopefully this is my last (and silly) question for all of this before going ahead and getting it done: I've only got one key, and need two. I've found a guy that will cut and code the key for £65(!) so I'm going to go get that sorted after I've fitted the new comfort control module. If I swap...

Re: Yet another remote central locking topic!
Hi All, Still looking to get around to this but I've done a bit of reading in the meantime. There's a lot of guides that involve coding but after a bit of reading, my understanding is that I wouldn't have to do any coding at all (with apologies to the post above looking for help!) if I follow these ...

Re: Anyone know of any Polo Vivos (9N4) imported into the UK?
You know, looking at a picture of the Vivo, do you know for sure if it’s as easy as a direct swap? The grill above the bumper looks totally different to the standard grill found on the regular 9n3. Maybe it’s as simple as swapping both out. Just thought it was worth a mention in case there’s more to...

Re: Bluemotion splitter replica
I'll keep looking, usually end up finding bits. And if I do mould the covers, I'll let you know. Out of interest, I see you are southwest area, are you by any chance guy/brother who had Peugeot 205 or 309 and use to go round crosskeys scrappy for bits? Pure random I know. Cheers for letting me know...

Re: Bluemotion splitter replica
It’s the cover and front splitter that I struggle with the most. I own a 1.4 Bluemotion so I’ve got the front and rear kit, it’s just that the front has been beaten the hell out of. It’ll cost £200 to get it fixed up back to new but I’m always browsing ebay in the hopes I’ll snag a bargain at some p...

Changing battery - help please!
Hi All, I can’t believe I can’t find any mention of this anywhere online, but I cannot do the mental gymnastics required to figure out how to remove the battery. Its in a plastic harness full of wires and I can’t seem to find any release clips to remove it. Does anyone have any tips or diagrams? I’v...

Thanks for the info RUM4MO, I will consider all options and update the thread accordingly Cheers [emoji6] Hi Phil! Did you ever get to the bottom of this problem and find a solution? I’m experiencing an almost identical issue and short of buying a new battery I’m completely stumped! Sent from my iP...

Re: Bluemotion splitter replica
Sorry to be a useless reply, but I’m really interested in hearing any advice about this. You’d think jacking points would be getting 3D printed and sold on AliExpress but they’re so hard to come by. What gives?!

Re: Newbie * head unit
Hi Andy! The newer head units don’t fit the 9n3’s unfortunately. It’s a shame because I would’ve preferred to go down that route - I’ve posted in the past the option I’ve gone for (but there’s also a Chinese head unit called the RCN 210 https://a.aliexpress.com/_dTYmD4v that’s really popular, blueto...

Re: After market radio
The cigarette lighter is probably your best bet on the fuse front. If you have a multimeter, see which fuses give a strong current when the key is turned on and you’d be fine using any of those. This is a fuse box diagram for the 9n and they’re just about the same - https://fusesdiagram.com/volkswag...
