My new one has built in Sat Nav but I only used it the first couple of times. Now I use Google Maps connected wirelessly via Android Auto. You still get the turn by turn directions on the active info display (between the dials) even with Google Maps, just can't display the full map on it.

I had this too with my 2019 GTI+. Was on the motorway when the Low Coolant warning came up which was a bit unnerving. It wasn't running hot so I carried on carefully and topped the coolant up when I got home. Never got the message again.

It could be trapped air, although it's almost 2 years old so I'd have thought it would have happened sooner if it was that? It's only just done 5000 miles though so perhaps mileage wise it could only be considered months old!
