Re: Sport mode
Fully agree with SRGTD, most sales staff know little about the cars, they are only Interested in sales. With regard to driving modes(sport, eco etc) only cars that have some kind of active suspension(which is usually a few hundred quid option) does the driving mode alter the suspension/ride. The dri...

Help* Fuse for the Window Washer Motor
RUM4NO, not being argumentative but how is it known to be operator error? OP said pump is not making noise and received a reply from a forum member who says (without having inspected the car) that it might be the fuse, might also not be the fuse

Re: Ghost 2 immobiliser 2019 GTI+
I’ve had several Ghosts on numerous VAG cars without any problems. If I’m allowed to name the fitter (apologies to mods if not) I use Mark who owns Safe & Sound at Leeds but is willing to travel within reason. I’ve used him for about 4yrs and no hesitation in recommending him. Falconmick, yeah ...

Try and get a photo of the data label that has all the codes on, label usually stuck to inside of handboook or service book and also usually stuck to paintwork under trim in the boot. If not, get VIN and contact VW.

Re: Tyre pressures
Slider, I merely tried to make a helpful reply to your original request and felt that manufacturer would know best. Their figures are the standard. I didn’t/don’t want to get into a sparring match. I have owned around 60 cars, including MK2, MK3 Golf GTi’s, 2 MK7 Golf Rs(manual and DSG), several oth...

Re: Cleaning Products
I’ve tried many different products and find for the outside Audi glass polish (Ebay) is good and use Autoglym Fast Glass internally.
Also try cleaning wiper blades with meths or neat screen wash.

I wouldn’t take a lot of notice of the order tracker, it showed my new Golf was in transit 2 weeks after I had taken delivery.

Re: Headlight bulb replacement
Is the metal plate on top of the headlight unit separate and needs to be removed to gain access to headlight securing screws?
