I need to replace the 4th gear in my gearbox , any idea where I can get the cog from apart from the dealer , and he cost of it .

Thinking of a set for my breadvan, 7" all round, will be lowering 60mm, anyone had any bother with rubbing, also what tyre size ?

The seats need covers, it is the black and white weave as fitted to an 82 polo c

After much stripping,wd40, and lots of swearing, got calipers sorted, new cables from eurowrongparts at £18.57 and i am sorted
The vag stealer quoted £161+vat for each caliper, euro was £85+vat for a recon one, which only needed red paint, but was exchange
food for thought

Can you refurb the handbrake mechanism on the rear calipers mine is sticking, and has stretched the cables

Anyone know where it can be got

about £150ish just want an upgrade from standard thats value for money, aint a youngster so dont want amps/bass boxes an all that, my fillings would shake lose

what size are the speakers ?

Looking to upgrade the door speakers in the polo need 4 as mine is a more door, my head unit is 45x4 so any idea's just want a decent upgrade

Mine had 26,000 on it , when i bought it, now up to 49,000, and going well, no gearbox probs, change the oil every 10,000 miles in it !
its a very early one , registered in jan 2000 so must be one of the first !
