aint g40 motors like rocking horse s**t though?

well its gonna be an every day car, so i dont wanna go to lairy. and yeah i was thinking of the polo gti motor, but i dont know for any going cheap

dont suppose anybody got any detail on any conversions? what motor to use with what box, engine management systems etc??

the reason i was asking is my mate got a gti motor out of a mk1 golf, and i was wondering if i altered the drivers side engine mount would it fit?

the only thing i was wondering about was the exhaust manifold and down pipe being a bit close to the bulk head........ i work in a garage so i dont mind ...

whats the biggest motor anyones put in a coupe?? or whats the best way to get a fair bit of power out of them? wanna be over 100 bhp.
