Well in my experience you ar still in sort of eco. the gears change up much faster and keep´s it in a higher gear longer. the performance is not all 200Hp in my opinion. sort of eco light maybe?


So you think the different modes mean different levels of power...?

Confirmed one press of the already lit ECO button.
It went off briefly and came back on with a dash message saying ECO DRIVE ACTIVATED (or similar).
God knows what driving mode I've been driving around in for weeks, thinking I was in ECO mode....presume 'normal'?

You dont need to reselect just press eco mode again.. no need too go into normal and then back to eco.

i had a beetle dune cab before this one and on that one the car stayed in idle mode untill i selected to change it.

Can it be like this?
if im in eco mode the gear selector still stands on eco when i restart but it does not cut the power or the free wheel function.

Meanning. it still shifts really late and at a lower rpm

Am i the only one who wonders why the eco mode doesn't stay in eco.. ?
The screen say´s eco but no gears in neutral when i let of the throttle..
is work´s untill i restart the car..

Is there a way to watch videos on the standard screen on my 2018 gti?
I have obd eleven pro

I had a beetle dune cab before i got the polo. Not the fender soundsystem but it played a lot better then the beats i got now.

Beats sounds fine on low sound but when you heare a good tune and crank the system is sounds terrible.

I got the beats soundsystem in my 2018 gti and i really don´t like the sound..

the base is floppy and it punches thru..

Am i the only one who has notised that my gti doesn't say Polo anywhere on the car..

well thats not compleatly thrue.. Its spelled on the plastic floormats..

It is the same as the instrument light.
same as the lightstrip.

Changed mine just the other day

The red light. How do you turn them on? i cant seem to find the knob, or can´t i turn them on when i have led?
