Re: EL Light Install Polo AW 2019

Not sure whether to go GTI red, or will it look like a portable knocking shop from Amsterdam? Volkswagen Up GTI has the red light, I think that it looks incredible! :D Personall...

Re: Squeaky noise and reversing noise
I never got offered an software update. I was simply told there is no fix or TPI (I think that was the acronym used) so I had the brakes pads cleaned It helped for a month or two but now is worse than ever [emoji17] Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk I’ve had my GTI now for 4 days, done arou...

Re: EL Light Install Polo AW 2019
No it doesn't replace an existing light. We tap into headlight switch (dimmer) to make the light turn on and off with internal lights. But this is a brand new light strip added to the dashboard which was not present before. My car has those lights as standard, but in white. Is this specific to the ...

Re: How to remove dash board trim
Interesting. I’m 49 and love the red inserts. Originally I was set on the grey until I sat in the demonstrator and loved it. It makes the cabin a much brighter more interesting place. I do agree it’s likely to be one of those personal taste issues. In my old GTI people used to say mice car shame ab...

https://www.drive2.com/l/515104980890288596/ This article also has some interesting photos. I too wanted to replace the red interior trim of my car, but for the life of me I couldn’t figure out how to remove the inserts with my trim remover tool, I was too worried off breakage...at least with order...

Re: External Exhaust Sound
I have had the sound actuator turned off and I definitely hear a sound difference in the different modes although not a big difference it is much bassier in sport especially in urban areas or covered forests where the sound echos however I have only done 180miles in my new car due to picking it lik...

Re: 2019 lead times
So today is not a good day. My car (GTI+) is currently sat at the dealers ready for my collection, but they are closed. Been told it will now be 15th April earliest before I can collect. That’s just a bloody tease. :( I'm in the same position. It may be worth getting the car registered in March bef...

Re: 2019 lead times
Well I got the great news that my GTI+ has arrived at the dealers today. Was ordered back in mid October and been in transit since mid to late January. Anyway, collecting it on Wednesday providing there are no changes to the self isolation etc. Seriously can’t wait to get out and about in it. It's ...

Re: 2019 lead times
Although mine left the factory the same day, my car won’t be in Emden until next Saturday (7th) and will be a further 2-3 weeks from there. Watching sailing routes has aided my African geography, but just want my car now.POLO Clive wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 6:06 am My car is now at Emden and my Dealer is saying 10 to 14 days
