My Polo SEL has the leather bolsters on the seats... I have the ‘Style Pack’ which I think includes these seats!

Exactly what I thought! Glad I’m not on my own here, dealership are making me think that I’m going crazy! Apparently they have all the paperwork, stating that this very light is not fitted I am struggling to believe them though...

Whilst I took the car in for the handbrake cables to be replaced, they also sorted out the issue of the recall too, apparently.
I have shown the dealership the photo I took of the light, and they are still saying that it just wasn’t fitted! I don’t understand why VW ...
